Listen folks, this winter has been a WEIRD one. After some early snowfall, Northwest Montana experienced it’s driest early winters in as long as I can remember. When you live in Whitefish and you see green grass in your yard the week before Christmas, you know something is up.
So when Alex and Alexandra, who booked their Montana elopement in hopes of a truly white wedding, were getting close to their wedding date and it STILL had not snowed - well, let’s just say that we were all getting a little nervous.
But, Montana did what she always does and totally redeems herself. The day of Alex and Alexandra’s elopement, someone hit the snow switch and they ended with the most perfect winter elopement.
The day began at their amazing vacation rental, The Whitefish Outpost, just north of town. Alex and Alexandra got ready separately and did their first look just as the snow really started to fall. Alexandra, looking every bit a snowy princess, happened to have a little trick up her sleeve (errrr, skirt) for that special moment. She “iced” Alex as he marveled at how gorgeous she looked! We all had a good laugh before our little caravan headed out to Belton Stage Park for A1 and A2’s “I do’s.”
Driving through a veritable snowstorm to get there, Mother Nature cooperated once again, and blessed when she lightened up to the most romantic snowfall for their ceremony. With the mountain tops peaking out through the clouds, we celebrated Alex and Alexandra’s nuptials surrounded by their family. Listening to them read their vows to one another, I don’t think there was a dry eye amongst us. These two lovebirds made their union official and capped it all off with a shot of Maker’s Mark!
We had such an amazing time with these two amazing humans. Alex and Alexandra, it was an honor to help you two Elope in Montana!
