Collection One & Two Timeline Examples
Collection One Timeline Example:
This one is for the early birds… but that’s not to say we can’t be flexible depending on your situation. It’s your day! We will help you plan it the way you see it playing out! However, if you do select this day, we highly recommend that you wake up EARLY, get ready, and hold your “first look” at where you are staying, during which we will be taking photos the whole time. From here, we will head to the trailhead and hike with our headlamps and watch the sunrise. Then comes the big moment, your beautiful ceremony surrounded by sweeping vistas. After you say your “I dos”, we will have the newlywed photo session in nature around the area of your ceremony. Then we pop the bubbly and celebrate! After the celebration, we will head home for maybe a quick nap then its off to Glacier National Park!
We will meet back up for gorgeous photos around the park and then you will have your picnic with charcuterie, cake and a beverage of choice! As the day winds down, you will get to watch the sunset as NEWLYWEDS! If it’s clear, we will even get some amazing star/night photos. The rest of the evening is up to you two!
OR… if you don’t consider yourself early risers, here is an option for you:
Hold your ceremony around 11- brunch and then nap. Then we will head into the park for gorgeous photos and then head to an intimate dinner either at one of Whitefish’s awesome restaurants or at your rental
Collection Two Timeline Example:
Photographer shows up to where you are staying- get some getting ready photos/ details, etc. If you want to do a first look we do it then. If you DON’T want to do a first look we skip this step and head to ceremony. (There are pros and cons both ways… if you don’t do a first look you have more time for photos of just the two of you in the park or wherever we are going. If you do do a first look and getting ready photos- it can cut into this time.)
Head to ceremony spot- Ceremony, then photos with family or friends that are there. Sign marriage license with officiant then officiant leaves or sometimes stays if they have time to and want to hang!
Photographer then takes you TWO around to gorgeous spots in the park or mountains. We chase the sun, cut the cake (pie, sweet treat of choice!), share some bubbly (wine, water, beer, drink of choice!) and toast to the two of you! (You can always save the sweet treat for a later celebration with your family!)
We try to make sure you have enough time to make it back to whatever dinner you may have scheduled with your family but light is always on our minds!!! (NOTE: In summer months, the sun sets LATE in Montana- so we typically do later timelines. We suggest if you are doing it in the summer months, to do your dinner either the night before or after your elopement day! That way we don’t have to rush to miss the good light. You can always add on charcuterie board or bring snacks so you don’t starve, but honestly, we usually forget about food as we are having so much fun!!! Just make sure you have something waiting for you when you get home!)
