“Nothing’s Going to Stop Us Now”

Cassie + John are the epitome of happy, true love. They only wanted to get married for themselves and for no other reason than they fit each other like a glove and are madly in love. So, naturally, an intimate, remote elopement in the Montana wilderness was perfect for them.

They have been together for 9 years, after years of crossing paths in seasonal work. They explained to us that no one ever believed they would get married. After spending a day with them and getting to know their love, it’s safe to say that people thought that because these two are so confident in their love that they didn’t need to prove it to anyone. Their love is simple, natural, genuine, thoughtful, easy, and truly meant to be.

They decided to surprise everyone back at home in Washington by eloping and then having a surprise wedding reception, disguised as a birthday party when they returned to their home state after they secretly got married—such a fun way to commit to each other and share the experience with everyone they love.

They had their photo session before their ceremony with Lindsey. Their elopement ceremony was held at Ryan’s beach on a beautiful, moody day in Glacier. Cassie walked down the “aisle” dancing. They had a truly meaningful ceremony and they celebrated after with pizza and cupcakes. (Pizza is Cassie’s favorite thing…other than John, of course.) They had their first dance to Nothing’s Going to Stop Us Now by Starship. They dance to this song daily together at their home in Washington—the cutest thing.

In 50 years, we predict these two will be sitting together, stupidly happy and surrounded by family.  This couple is truly meant to be, it was an absolute joy to be a part of their day. Thank you, Cassie +John!

XOXO, Elope Montana
