Love Lights the Way

The goal of getting up to the top of a mountain wasn’t quite feasible at the time of Joe and Caitlin’s elopement, so we pivoted towards the Ross Creek Cedars. It’s one of the most beautiful places in Montana. A secret little grove of giant cedar trees. We woke up early and headed on the somewhat long, but beautiful, drive to the west. The whole time we had the place to ourselves, and we found a great little trio of trees to hold us while we carried out their ceremony. 

Caitlin and Joe changed into their wedding attire with big smiles and anticipation. Their elopement included a handfasting ceremony and some celebration whisky. They said beautiful vows to each other and shared their first kiss as a married couple. 

After the ceremony, the gang headed to Kootenai Falls for a photos and celebration. Then they headed back for an afternoon break which included delicious mixed drinks from the amazing Spotted Bear Spirits in Whitefish. After enjoying their craft cocktails, the couple went with Lindsey to take more photos that included a gorgeous Alpenglow sunset and lanterns. You can check out their gallery below!
