Fall to Winter Montana Elopement
The transition from fall to winter is the best! It really doesn’t get more spectacular than the fall colors glowing against the snow-capped mountains. Speaking of spectacular, Ilse was a spectacularly beautiful fall bride! Lindsey met them at their rental on Big Mountain and walked into the most beautiful scene. Ilse had a stunning charcuterie board made, along with beautiful bouquets from Mum’s Flowers in Whitefish. Shayna, a wonderful hair stylist, was styling all of the ladies’ hair. The group was laughing and enjoying the excitement of the day. It was such a welcoming environment.
They got dressed, had their first look and took a celebratory shot. The group then departed from the Airbnb to drive to Two Medicine. They arrived at Pray Lake to find dreamy, glassy water, with the most beautiful reflections. No wind at all… which is rare. After taking in the gorgeous view, they went to check out Running Eagle Falls and then headed to St. Mary to enter the GNP (Going to the Sun Road was still closed.) On the way there, we got to see a moose in the field!
They made it to Sun Point, took some photos and waited for some of their friends who had flown in that day and were rushing to get to the ceremony before the sunset. They made it just in time and it was so lovely to have them witness the beautiful ceremony of Shawn and Ilse. Ilse’s daughter and two other friends were also in attendance.
Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Simmons! You are so kind, and we love your laid-back attitude and happiness! We wish you so much love & laughter in your lifetime with one another.
