Clydesdales, Coffee + a Ceremony to Remember

Nicole + Brenden didn’t travel for for their elopement, their home being Missoula, Montana and their love for Glacier National Park runs deep. When Elisheba was getting to know them, they realized that they had been at a concert in Missoula at the same time!

They knew they wanted their day to start with them together, slow & intimate. They rented a spot out at Clydesdale Outpost and a beautiful morning with coffee and the sun shining (let’s not forget the matching pajamas) Begrudgingly splitting ways to get ready then come coming back together with the sweetest first look.

This look wasn’t just being observed by Jenn, the Clydesdale horses were so curious and made their way closer to Nicole + Brenden. Such beautiful animals, the Clydesdales, a peaceful, great presence.

Nicole, Brenden + Jenn made their way to Glacier National Park to meet Elisheba and their family for the ceremony. The month of October can be hit or miss here but luck was on our side as it was a warmer, bright afternoon. The ceremony spot was on the beach at Lake McDonald, just below the lodge. We had it all to ourselves, Nicole + Brenden’s family all watched with glistening eyes as Nicole, with her parents, made their way to Brenden.

The ceremony held sweet moments, Nicole + Brenden had written down somethings they wanted to let go + bring into their marriage and they burned them, a symbolic fresh beginning. They shared thier vows with laughter + tears. It was beautiful.

Afterward the family gathered for photos and there was such a cute moment. Jenn had them say “Money!” to smile and somewhat after, one of the little boys from behind Jenn photographing the folks in the next photo yells “Say Money!” Always good to know your tricks work.

Of course there is cake. The little ones were so excited that they got their own cupcakes, they could barely stand it. Nicole + Brenden joined Jenn for the rest of the evening to revel in their new marriage and enjoy the evening splendor of the park + surrounding areas. So happy and full of love, a delightful ending to a joyous day.
