A True Elopement - “We Choose Each Other Every Day”
Jason and Jenny’s elopement was on a moody, cool day. It seems like overnight it turned cool. But like Lindsey always says, we love and embrace the moody season change.
They did too! The group met in West Glacier and drove to the first location to hike into to have the first look. Bighorn sheep were passing through as they hiked, which was so cool! Jenny got dressed in the woods, with the help of Erin, and Jason got to take in the view while she did. A first look success! He was wowed by her beauty. They then made it down to Sun Point for their ceremony. It was W-I-N-D-Y! So much so that Erin did not wear her hat, as it would have been in St. Mary Lake!
J and J could not stop laughing and smiling during their ceremony. It was so beautiful! Actually, they didn’t stop the whole time. A little backstory on these two cuties - they have been together for over 15 years and have 3 kids together. I think Jenny put it best saying- “We've been through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Had our highest highs, our rough patches, and near break-ups. We chose each other every day and we're both willing to acknowledge when things aren't great and make a concerted effort to fix it. I truly feel like our relationship and love for each other gets stronger every year. Life gets hectic in the day-to-day, and neither of us requires grand gestures to show our love.
Just beautiful and SUCH great advice.
She surprised him with his favorite rare bourbon and we did cake, pizza, bourbon and bubbly with a beautiful sunset.
Do you want to know the BEST part of all this?
THIS was a TRUE elopement!
No one knows from their family… So hopefully no-one is following me or Elope Montana to give it up… if so, mum’s the word until they announce ;) They were cooking up ways to tell everyone when they got home. I can’t wait to hear how they did!
Erin and Lindsey enjoyed your love so much! We know you will make everyone so happy when they hear the good news!
Congratulations you two!
XOXO, Elope Montana
