So you want to elope in Montana. Even if you’ve been married before, this is probably a whole different experience for you. What will your day look like, what will you do? We’ve got you covered! This blog shows a little snippet of what your day could entail. Of course everyones choices are special to them but generally, this is what a day with our team can include for you and your loved ones.

Whether it’s just the two of you, you + your family, the dogs, all the cousins, or your best friend from high school, the below “timeline” can help you envision what your day could look like.

GETTING READY

Where the magic begins! Whether you are doing you own hair + make-up or have hired one of our recommended vendors to help with the sprucing up, this is where it’s nice to give yourself enough time. If that means waking up earlier than normal, it will be worth it for you to enjoy the slowness of the morning and indulge in the best self-care! Your photographer will be there capturing these sweet moments; getting into your dress, the details you’ve so lovingly thought of for months + the intimate, casual time before the momentum of the day.

FIRST LOOK

This is one that can shift according to your specific desires. The first look can be at your rental, or it can be at the ceremony. This choice is completely up to you and when you are working with your photographer to make a schedule, you can let them know what you prefer. They will plan all the rest and you just have to be there!

CEREMONY

We navigate such busy lives and even though there is a schedule and timeline to your day, the ceremony is a great moment for you to take a breath and be as present as possible with your loved ones. Your celebrant will have been in touch with you for some great phone + video calls, learning all about how you want your ceremony to unfold and what makes you you. Once you arrive to your ceremony spot, they will take care of the rest. Our team of celebrants care so much and will guide you in many noteworthy moments when are all together.

FAMILY PHOTOS

If have the pleasure of your family joining you on this auspicius day, it’s now time to capture them all on camera! We’ve got all the combinations covered and all our photographers are masters at making the smoothest transitions, making sure to get everyone in front of the camera. These are great memories to look back on and if your lucky your celebrant will be making some funny faces to guarantee smiles!

COUPLE PHOTOS

Love abounds! Wherever you decide to have your ceremony, whether its Glacier National Park or the many other beautiful locations we have around us, this is your time to kiss + hug + kiss make all those sappy faces we love to see.

CAKE

Who doesn’t love a good slice of delectable cake. Now this could also be pie or cupcakes or even cookies! We’re not here to judge. We do believe in celebrating with good treats and whether you keep this for yourselves or have this moment with your family before having some solo time, we are here for all of it.

A BEAUTIFUL DAY’S END

The evening has come (unless you have a sunrise ceremony) and you are still giddy and ready to drop. The specifics of getting back to your rental can be worked out with your photographer but this is usually where our time with you ends. One practical note, the towns surrounding us don’t have many late night food options so be sure to have a food plan for when you get back so you don’t go to bed hungry.
